Exploring the secrets of Nakkila

Banana leaf or Naakkila in (Kerala Language Malayalam)

From the ancient time banana leaves used for serving food in different part of the world, especially south east asia , central America and Mexico etc. Quality of banana leaves is large, flexible, and waterproof. Its impart an aroma to food so its use for cook or served; also steaming with banana leaves imparts a subtle sweet flavor and aroma to the dish. The leaves not eaten themselves but the contents are used by through serving or cooked.
In a vedic culture such as hindus and Budhists used as a decorative element for all the special functions such as marriage or another South india villagers still using banana leaves as the first plate. Kerala , tamilnadu, Karnataka, and andhrapradesh especially using banana leaves every special occations in the day to day life.
Other Asian countries also shares this similar festival such as; Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, India and China.
Banana leaf rice (sadhya) is a traditional method of serving rice dishes in south indian food.

Tongue and Taste

Structure of the tongue having magical information’s, that make remembering us how incredible we are created by. Taste buds enclose the receptors for taste. All they located around the small uppersurface of the tongue., soft palate, upper esophagus, the cheek, epiglottis, which are called papillae. These structures are involved in detecting the six elements of taste perception: salty, sour, bitter, sweet and umami( savory taste)
It’s a sensation make when a substance in the mouth results chemically with taste receptor cells . there are various taste buds in human tongues more than 2000 to 8000 in a average human tongue.
Papillae is the projections of the toungue surface raised majority of taste buds on the tongue .
There are four types of lingual papillae present in the human tongue:
• Mushroom typed call as fungiform papillae
• V shaped called Filiform papillae
Foliate papillae - these are ridges and grooves towards the posterior part of the tongue found at the lateral borders. Innervated by facial nerve (anterior papillae) and glossopharyngeal nerve (posterior papillae).
• Circumvallate papillae - there are only about 10 to 14 of these papillae on most people, and they are present at the back of the oral part of the tongue. They are arranged in a circular-shaped row just in front of the terminal sulcus of tongue
The tongue is a muscular organ in the mouth of most vertebrates that manipulates food for mastication, and is used in the act of swallowing. It is of importance in the digestive system and is the primary organ of taste in the gustatory system. The tongue's upper surface (dorsum) is covered in taste buds housed in numerous lingual papillae. It is sensitive and kept moist by saliva, and is richly supplied with nerves and blood vessels. The tongue also serves as a natural means of cleaning the teeth.[2]A major function of the tongue is the enabling of speech in humans and vocalization in other animals.

The human tongue is divided into two parts, an oral part at the front and a pharyngeal part at the back. The left and right sides are also separated along most of its length by a vertical section of fibrous tissue that results in a groove on the tongue's surface.
